Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting by working as a reporter at WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later, she was an anchor in the morning and a reporter at WCBD TV. O'Dell's reportage on the streets of Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases has led to an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division investigating the incidents. Ms. O'Dell won the Best Report of the Media Award South Carolina by the Associated Press. O'Dell has worked at Charleston working as a journalist, was a co-anchor at the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station, before transferring into Access Hollywood where she is currently a co-anchor and correspondent on weekends. O'Dell anchors the main newscast at Access Hollywood. In addition, she contributes to NBC News Today and Dateline NBC. She's reported on major events like The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards, as well co-hosting Pre ShowArrivals Shows at The Emmys. Co-hosted also for the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant.
